ST. GEORGE – Dixie State University’s weekly noontime “Dixie Forum: A Window on the World” series continues this Tuesday, Sept. 3, with a presentation entitled “Outdoor Adventure in Southern Utah” by DSU associate professor Dr. Robert G. Snow.
Dr. Snow has served more than 20 years on the staff of DSU’s administrative computing department, and he is also a PEHR leisure lifestyle activity class instructor. Snow is an outdoors enthusiast and would be considered by many to be a southern Utah native, but he also has lived, been educated, and worked on the Wasatch Front, southeast Texas, and Bay Area in California.
The Forum will begin at noon in the Dunford Auditorium of the Browning Resource Center on the DSU campus with free admission.
The weekly Dixie Forum series will continue its 2013 Fall Semester slate on Tuesday, Sept. 10, featuring a presentation by DSU associate professor of English Dr. Stephen B. Armstrong entitled “Understanding the World of Movies.”
