MIDVALE – The public’s help is requested in locating a missing 15-year-old girl from Midvale, Rachel Roberts.
Roberts was last seen on July 14 at her family’s home near Midvalley Elementary School and was reported missing later that day. She is classified as an endangered runaway and suffers from asthma, augmenting concerns for her safety.
“We’re very concerned for Rachel’s health. She suffers from asthma and a mental health condition that she wasn’t taking her medication for at the time she disappeared,” her father, Christian Roberts, said. “We hope that she will see she can get the help she needs if she comes home and lets us take care of her.”
Lt. Justin Hoyal of the Unified Police Department said that UPD investigators have been doing everything they can to locate her and continue to follow up on leads. Her cell phone was found at a TRAX rail station in Murray on July 16, which is her last confirmed location. The Missing Child – Rachel Roberts Facebook page was established by her family to assist in the search.
Roberts is a 15-year-old white female, 5-foot-3 and 100 pounds, with blue eyes and platinum blond hair with black highlights.
