My husband was in Hurricane Wal-Mart when this hit. He said that several street lights (the yellow flashing arrows) were blown sideways. He saw a couple of young trees downed, debris and dirt blowing like crazy in what he described as gale force winds. Cars on SR-9 slowed down to 25mph or stopped. He saw ambulances heading toward the freeway.
Guess this was an all-or-nothing storm. We had one very bright lightening strike in St. George…looked as if it probably hit a lightening rod near the Temple/Hospital…and a few booms. Not much else.

Great photos! That was quite a storm that blew through. I’m sorry for the damage suffered by some people.
