HURRICANE – On Friday and Saturday, the Monster X Tour will roar into the Washington County Fairgrounds for an action-packed pair of performances.
The weekend’s lineup features monster trucks Rock Star, California Kid, Reverse Racer, Bucked Up, American Graffiti and Bone Crusher, along with thrill acts FMX Freestyle Motocross and Quad Racing.
Gates open at 6 p.m. both days. Pit parties, where spectators can meet the tour’s stars and admire their rigs up close, will be held from 6 to 7 p.m. Each performance will begin at 7:30 p.m. and last two to three hours.
Tickets cost $19 for adults, $10 for kids ages 3 to 12 ($7.50 for Friday tickets purchased online) and can be purchased on the tour website or at the gate for an additional fee. VIP tickets, which grant spectators access to the pit parties and premium seats, are available. Pit party passes can also be purchased at the gate for $5.
Pictures are allowed, but video cameras are banned. Spectators should expect loud noise, dust and exhaust fumes. Due to these factors, the event is not recommended for children under age 3.
