ST. GEORGE – A white pickup truck heading southbound on Interstate 15 rolled over at mile marker 6 this morning.

At 10:13 a.m. a white pickup truck towing a trailer carrying irrigation pipe rolled over, Utah Highway Patrol Cpl. Todd Johnson said, spilling his load of pipe and a box of nails or screws all over the southbound lanes.

The driver was a 27-year-old man, Johnson said, and did not suffer injury.

Crews are bringing magnetized equipment in to collect the screws and nails from the highway.

Johnson said preliminary reports indicate that the truck possibly went off the road to the right, although the cause of the rollover was not yet determined at the time.

No other vehicles were involved in the incident.
