The Flyers needed overtime, but got a Golden Goal from Alex Green to beat Pine View 1-0. Tristan Cowles continued to play a red-hot goalkeeper spot, recording yet another shutout. The senior has 18 career shutouts.

Dixie holds onto first place with the win, upping their total to 15 team points, three ahead of Desert Hills. The Flyers, 7-3-0 overall and 5-1-0 in region, have only allowed seven goals this year, and only two goals in region play. Dixie plays at second place Desert Hills Friday night.

The Panthers, 3-5-0 and 3-3-0, play at Hurricane Friday night.

Desert Hills 1, Snow Canyon 0

It was a tough luck night for the Warriors, who inadvertently knocked in an own-goal for the only score of the night.

Vincent Enfield got the shutout for the Thunder, who move to 7-2-1 overall and 4-2-0 in region play. That gives DH 12 team points, three behind Dixie, who the Thunder host Friday night.

Snow Canyon has gone from first to sixth in less than two weeks. This is the Warriors third straight loss after starting region play 2-0-1. SC is now 2-6-1 overall and 2-3-1 in region play. The Warriors play at home vs. Canyon View Friday night.

Hurricane 2, Cedar 1

The Tigers got the home win by scoring two goals in a three minute span late in the game to erase the Cedar lead. Noah Elison and Zack Wolsleger each scored for the rousing comeback win. Koy Gubler assisted on both goals as Hurricane improves to 6-3-1 overall and 3-2-1 in region. The Tigers are in third place, five points behind leader Dixie. Hurricane hosts Pine View Friday night.

The Redmen got a goal from Noah Hill, but the loss drops them to 6-3-1 overall and 3-3 in region, a game behind the Tigers. Cedar is off Friday and plays at Canyon View next Tuesday.
