ST. GEORGE — The cream is starting to rise to the top in Region 9 in all sports and as we hit or near the halfway point in spring sports, these rivalry games become more and more important. Baseball has a huge match-up tonight as first-place Desert Hills takes on defending-champion Snow Canyon at Warriors Field. In soccer, six of the seven teams are in contention and top ranked Dixie plays Pine View tonight. On Friday night, an underrated Dixie softball team will take its shot at high-flying Snow Canyon. Here’s the complete schedule this week, which includes a Saturday softball tournament at Payson:
