CENTRAL – A fatal accident was reported on state Route 18 at an intersection near milepost 26 Monday. Authorities were alerted to the incident around 5 p.m. and dispatched emergency responders to the scene.
The incident has been described as a two-vehicle accident in which at least one individual has been pronounced dead at the scene by responders. Another individual is reported as needing extrication from one of the vehicles involved.
The Utah Highway Patrol has confirmed that the two vehicles involved in the accident were a passenger car and full-size pickup truck pulling a flatbed trailer.
