Austin was last seen by her foster family on Nov. 22, 2012, in St. George and is believed to have run away. Her family has been in contact with her sporadically via e-mail, but she refused to reveal her location or return home.

She may travel to the Salt Lake City area and also has ties in Las Vegas, where she once lived with her biological parents.

“We have not located any ties to Tiffany in St. George, which leads us to believe that she is probably no longer in this area,” said Officer Derek Lewis, public information officer for the St. George Police Department.

Austin is 5 feet 4 inches tall and weighs 120 pounds, with hazel eyes. She is a natural blonde, but had her hair dyed brown when she disappeared. Her ears, nose and lip are pierced and she has a distinctive scar on her left cheek. She may use the alias “Heather.”

Anyone with information on Austin’s whereabouts is asked to call the SGPD at 435-627-4300 or the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children at 1-800-843-5678.
