Sen. Lee comments on Hagel’s nomination as Secretary of Defense

WASHINGTON, D.C. – Earlier this week, Sen. Mike Lee, a member of the Senate Armed Services Committee, commented on the nomination of former Sen. Chuck Hagel as the Secretary of Defense.

“The United States continues to face significant national security challenges and it is critical to have a strong leadership at the Pentagon that can respond to our evolving and emerging threats,” Lee said in a statement. “The nomination of Sen. Hagel presents an opportunity to discuss not only his qualifications for the position and his approach to defending the United States and her allies, but also the specific ways in which he would seek to strengthen, modernize, and reform our national defense. I look forward to hearing Sen. Hagel’s answers to questions involving these important issues.”

” I look forward to hearing Sen. Hagel’s answers to questions involving these important issues.” And then I’ll vote no because I always say “no”.

“…. because as a true Republican, I am against everything that Obama does, good or bad, no matter how much I handicap this country with ignorance.”

Of course Barry picked Hagel since he dislikes Israel just like Barry does.
