Hiring Our Heroes job fair with resumé, interviewing skills workshop

ST. GEORGE – The U.S. Chamber of Commerce is sponsoring a hiring event in St. George on Jan. 24 for veteran, active duty, guard and reserve members and military spouse job seekers.

On Jan. 24, from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m., a job fair event will be held in the St. George Dixie Center for veteran job seekers, active duty military members, guard and reserve members, and military spouses. This event will be a one-of-a-kind, free-admission hiring fair for both employers and job seekers.

This U.S. Chamber of Commerce-sponsored hiring event is being conducted by the Utah Veterans and Military Employment Coalition, the Utah Committee for Employer Support of the Guard and Reserve, the Utah Department of Veterans’ Affairs, the Utah Department of Workforce Services, the Department of Labor’s Veterans’ Employment and Training Service, the U.S. Department of Veteran Affairs, NBC News, and other local partners.

An advance “Resumé and Interview Skills Workshop” will be offered on  Jan. 22 at the Dixie Center.
