ST. GEORGE – Hosted by the City of St. George, Downtown Christmas in the Park offers a four-day event filled with fun and holiday cheer for all ages.

The event will be held from 6 to 7 p.m. every evening through Wednesday (no activities on Sunday) in the Town Square Park at 55 South Main Street. Each night has its own unique flavor and features storybook reading, carousel rides, arts and crafts, games, performances from local high school choirs and more entertainment. Santa Claus will be at the carousel for photos.

Downtown Christmas in the Park is a great way to get the family out of the house and enjoy the wonderful weather in St. George’s beautiful historic district. In addition to the outdoor events, there will also be nightly performances in the Tabernacle.

At the inaugural night on Saturday, St. George News caught up with Mayor Dan McArthur and other locals partaking in the fun. Our report, captured on video, is included below.
