UPDATE: Power restored in Cedar and Enoch

CEDAR CITY – Rocky Mountain Power restored power at 2:57 p.m. today after an outage affected areas of  Cedar City and Enoch. Any customers still experiencing power outage are asked to telephone RMC at 877-508-5088.

1:27 p.m.: Rocky Mountain Power is reporting a power outage in the areas of Cedar City and Enoch, specifically in ZIP codes 84720 and 84721.

According to its website, the cause is a transmission interruption and affects approximately 18,220 of RMP’s customers.

Crews have been dispatched to resolve the problem and restoration of power is estimated for 5:30 p.m.
