Tigers will be No. 2 seed after easy win vs. Canyon View

HURRICANE – It was “Clean the Closet Night,” in Hurricane Wednesday as the Tigers cleared the bench in a 51-12 blowout win over Canyon View Wednesday.

Seven different Tigers scored touchdowns and just about everyone who owned a Hurricane jersey got playing time in the blowout.

Hurricane led 44-5 three-quarters of the way through the game and was never really challenged, although the out-manned Falcons did cut it to 14-3 in the second quarter before the Tigers ran in two more TDs..

Canyon View picked up five more first downs than the Tigers, but were ultimately overpowered and allowed 348 yards of total offense to 291 yards of its own.

As usual Hurricane did the most damage on the ground, racking up 326 rushing yard on carries from nine different players. Cody Lebaron led the Tiger rushing attack with 127 yards on only three carries.

Dallin Dalstrup was the bright spot for the Falcons and finished with 160 yards rushing and a touchdown on 19 carries.
