  Rude – adjective, rud·er, rud·est.
  1. discourteous or impolite, especially in a deliberate way: a rude reply.
  2. without culture, learning, or refinement: rude, illiterate peasants.

  4. rough, harsh, or ungentle: rude hands.

  The only thing I see that you haven’t been is number five my dear Mister Murat. You can’t tell me that you have exactly been supportive.

  I would also like to take this chance to show you what “direct” means
  Direct-verb (used with object)
  1. to manage or guide by advice, helpful information, instruction, etc.: He directed the company through a difficult time.
  2. to regulate the course of; control: History is directed by a small number of great men and women.
  3. to administer; manage; supervise: She directs the affairs of the estate.
  4. to give authoritative instructions to; command; order or ordain: I directed him to leave the room.
  5. to serve as a director in the production or performance of (a musical work, play, motion picture, etc.).

  Many of the comments you have made haven’t met these standards, they haven’t managed or guided us, they only thing they’ve regulated the course of is your humongous ego, they definitely have not administered or managed anything unless you count making others angry a great tool. They haven’t given us instructions unless the instruction is to not so subtly tell us to go do something not so clean to ourselves(I’ll let you use your imagination for that one as I myself try not to stoop so low as to use gutter slang).
  Also as far as I can tell the only production you have put on is the “Murat knows everything and his word is infallible, now kiss my feet peasants” production of which you are the only one enjoying.

  So in closing I would like to state that if your reason for making these comments is to make others angry and further alienate yourself from as many people as possible well then sir I say “bravo”.

      Alas, why do I say these dreadful things? Instead of competing at the senior games, I am forever sequestered in Mother’s basement, a prisoner of my own obesity and incontinence. At least I have my imaginary online life as Murat, through which I can fantasize about being a supreme member of society. Sigh. I hope Mother comes down soon with some lunch. And I do hope she remembers to cut the crusts off my sandwiches this time.

        I know you get a kick out of this, but my mother was actually killed by a brain-eating amoeba, and it is painful for me to recall the episode.

          Editorial note: It is becoming difficult to distinguish for the readers who are enduring these comments which is the original Murat that emerged on STGnews comment forum and which is the imposter, usually posting as Murat’s Alter Ego. Suffice it to say, again, St. George News abhors censorship, encourages and embraces dissent and discussion and affirmation. The battle of Murats and Murat opponents appears to be growing very tiresome to many readers. Some of the original Murat’s commentary is insightful and thought provoking. Be kind to your STGnews Editor, and return to clever discourse, insightful commentary, and wise satire if you like, even humor. Spitting back and forth and insulting is getting quite old. This thread, as an example, is now CLOSED TO meaningless insults. Other commentary welcome.

    Patience Ken – The games are not done yet! We hope you will be pleased, we do have a terrific story working on softball, including tremendous photos. We’ve been out there. We hope you’ve noticed we’ve covered several of the sports and been sprinkling them out over the course of the games. Softball has been tremendous. Watch for our story?

    No doubt track and field athletes were remarkable, Elizabeth. This year we surpassed by a “long jump” our coverage of previous years’ Senior Games. We published about 10 posts, two galleries offering 115 professional photos, and offered stories of individuals and teams and groups. The Huntsman World Senior Games is a complex and newsworthy event to be sure, 27 events and thousands of participants from around the globe, volunteer and athletic competitors; we couldn’t catch them all but we did catch quite a few. The good news is: They will be back next year, and I bet should I be fortunate to still sit in the Editor’s chair I’ll remember your gentle “tsk” and see about directing coverage of those runners and jumpers next year. Watch for it?
