HURRICANE – The City of Hurricane will start accepting bids from qualified contractors to complete the City of Hurricane Water Service Improvement Project.
Bids and a Statement of Qualifications will be accepted at the City of Hurricane office, 147 N 870 West in Hurricane until 10 a.m., Thursday, Aug. 30. A mandatory pre-bid meeting will be held Thursday, Aug. 23 at 10 a.m. at the City of Hurricane office. Contractors must attend this meeting as a prequalification to submit a proposal.
The City Council will award the project to the lowest responsive responsible bidder, taking into consideration all criteria established by the City relating to financial strength, past performance, integrity, reliability, and other factors used by the City to assess the ability of a bidder to perform fully and in good faith the contract requirements. The engineer for this project is ProValue Engineering at 435-668-8307.
Obtaining bid documents, specifications, and drawings
Bid documents may be obtained from ProValue Engineering beginning Aug. 20 at 52 S 850 West, Suite 202B in Hurricane or examined at the AGC in St. George. You may call for plans at 435-668-8307. A fee of $60 will be charged for plans, contract documents and specifications, no part will be refundable or they can be obtained electronically with no fee.
