The victim, a 50-year-old male, observed the woman and Simpson working on their automobile in the parking lot of the motel and offered to let them use his room telephone and bathroom.  The woman took him up on this offer.

The woman and Simpson returned to the room a short time later.  The woman knocked and the victim answered his door. When he opened the door, she entered, with Simpson following behind before the victim closed the door.

Simpson pulled a file that had one end with a sharp tip on it.  He pulled the file on the victim and demanded money and keys to his automobile.  When the victim did not comply quickly enough, Simpson beat him with the file.

Simpson took the car keys, but no money was taken from the victim.

As Simpson was attempted to take the car, the victim began to stop him while calling for help as he tried to pull the suspect away from his car. Simpson ultimately fled the motel on foot. The woman was still on scene when officers arrived.

St. George Police Investigators were called out and arrested the woman for robbery. Simpson is still at large needs to be located.   There is currently a $20,000 cash-only warrant for his arrest.

Anyone with information about this case or the whereabouts of Orlando Simpson, please contact the St. George Police Department at (435) 627-4300 or Detective Bradon Dunbar at (435) 627-4328.
