UHP releases name and condition of driver in SR18 rollover

ST. GEORGE – Utah Highway Patrol released the name and condition of the driver involved in the State Route 18 rollover near Winchester Hills.

Suzanne Erler of Ivins, 44, was in a vehicle rollover on SR 18 near Winchester Hills at 3:30 p.m., Tuesday. Witnesses told police Erler’s vehicle had rolled multiple times before finally coming to a stop off the road.

Erler was transported to Dixie Regional Medical Center with serious injuries to her arm and shoulder, said Cpl. Todd Johnson of the UHP. Erler’s injuries, though serious, were said to be non-life threatening.

The exact cause of the crash has yet to be determined, but authorities believe alcohol was a contributing factor.
