Rollover on SR 18 sends woman to hospital

ST. GEORGE – Emergency responders were dispatched to the scene of a vehicle rollover on State Route 18 near Winchester Hills at 3:30 p.m. on Tuesday.

A van was reported to have rolled several times before coming to a stop off the side of the road. A 44-year-old woman was the only occupant of the vehicle and has been transported to Dixie Regional Medical Center. Her condition is currently unknown.

The southbound portion of SR 18 by the Ledges near Winchester Hills was blocked to traffic while authorities investigate the scene of the accident. The road was completely reopened shortly after 4:20 p.m.
