Easter concert to feature St. George temple president

ST. GEORGE – The Southern Utah Heritage Choir will present “Precious Savior, Dear Redeemer,” an Easter concert based on the events surrounding the crucifixion and resurrection of Jesus Christ. The concert will also feature Bruce C. Hafen and Marie Hafen.  

Bruce C. Hafen, the current president of the St. George Temple and an emeritus general authority of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, and Marie Hafen, the St. George Temple matron, will deliver the Easter message. The Southern Utah Heritage Choir will perform songs focused on the final week of Christ’s life and following resurrection.

Two performances will be at 5 p.m. and 7 p.m. April 8 at the St. George Tabernacle, 18 South Main St. in St. George.

The concert is free to the public.
