IVINS – Kamri Hafen was crowned 2012’s Miss Ivins at the city’s annual scholarship pageant held Saturday.
Runners-up who join the princess Hafen’s court include: First Attendant Alyssa Morrison, Second Attendant Shiann Ruesch and Miss Congeniality Aleisha Walter.
Hafen will receive a $1,000 scholarship to the college of her choice, Morrison and Ruesch will each receive a $500 scholarship to the college of their choice. Pageant Director Tonya Horlacher said this is the second year with the scholarships intact, although the Miss Ivins Pageant has been around since 1972.
The girls will contribute to the Miss Ivins parade float, contribute hours of community service and attend many community events representing the City of Ivins.
