Update on Centennial Park area accident, resulting in five fatalities

MOHAVE COUNTY, Ariz. – Mohave County Sheriff’s deputies responded to a single vehicle rollover accident on Big Warren Road, approximately 17 miles south of Centennial Park, late Wednesday afternoon where five occupants were deceased at the scene and one occupant survived.

Autopsies were conducted on Monday, March 12.  The Sheriffs Office is waiting on the toxicology results which could take weeks for the Department of Public Safety crime lab analysis.

Investigations thus far have determined that Carl Otto Nathaniel Holm, 22, of Hildale, Utah, was the driver of the Chevy Suburban.  The accident happened late Tuesday, March 6, between 11 p.m. and midnight.

It is unknown if the occupants were wearing seatbelts.  The five deceased victims were ejected from the vehicle while the surviving victim was trapped in the vehicle.  Beer cans were located at the accident scene.

Nakita Timpson, 16, of Colorado City, Ariz., the only survivor was listed in stable condition at Dixie Regional Medical Center on Tuesday, March 13, at noon.

This accident remains under investigation and alcohol may be a factor.  Toxicology results are pending.

      Bev, our information has not changed, and it came from the Mohave County Sheriff’s Department. If we receive verifiable information it is incorrect, we will post a correction.
