ST. GEORGE – Utah Department of Transportion has scheduled the following construction related activity in St. George in the area of and near I-15 Mileposts 5 and 6, scheduled for March 2-11:
Activity:
* Grading at Dixie Drive, Hilton Drive and Indian Hill
* Sealing joints.
* Painting structures.
* Dixie Drive pedestrian tunnel repairs.
* Installing signal lights, mast arms and sign bases.
* Drilling overhead sign shafts.
Impact:
* Intermittent lane closures on southbound I-15.
* Bluff Street interchange traffic merges into the I-15 work zone.
* I-15 Southbound traffic crosses median to the east side of corridor.
* I-15 speed is reduced to 55 m.p.h.
* No westbound traffic from Indian Hills onto Dixie Drive.
* Business access only between Indian Hills and Black Ridge on Hilton.
* The Hilton Drive Trail is closed.
