ST. GEORGE – A free St. George area Resume Workshop will be held on Tuesday, Sept. 20, at the University of Phoenix Southern Utah Learning Center. Those who attend will also have a chance to visit with representatives from several local businesses. The workshop will be presented by Chris Healy, a University faculty member and St. George human resources business executive.

2.Employers are looking for candidates with strong social media involvement. Is your online presence active and appropriate for the eyes of a prospective employer?

About the presenter
Chris Healy is the Human Resources Business Partner for Wells Enterprises, Inc, the maker of Blue Bunny Ice Cream products. She has also worked in the industries of banking, healthcare, printing, distribution, retail and manufacturing.
As a faculty member for the University of Phoenix, Chris teaches MBA classes titled “Human Capital Management” and “Organizational Leadership”. In the undergrad business program she teaches “Strategic Human Resource Management”, “Sustaining Human Resources”, and “Human Resources Management”.
With a Bachelor’s Degree in Business and a Master’s of Administration in Human Resources, she also has a long list of certifications, including: Professional in Human Resources (PHR); Group Benefits Associate (GBA); Compensation Management Specialist (CMS); Certified Employee Benefits Specialist (CEBS).
