ST. GEORGE – The Canyon View Falcons (2-0) head south to take on the Desert Hills Thunder (2-0) at 7 p.m. Desert Hills has the best defense in the Region, only giving up 28 points in their first three games. Mike Needham leads the Thunder rushing attack scoring four times on the ground this season. Needham has scored a total of six times this season.
Canyon View needs to find a way to get the passing game going; the Falcons are averaging 76 yards per game through the air, and that sounds way better then it really is. Using two quarterbacks, the Falcons have only compleated five passes all season. The Falcons will again be on lead by Dakota Marshall. Marshall has found pay dirt five times this season doing the bulk of his work on the ground rushing for 76 yards per game.
