$10,000 Reward Offered in Wells Fargo Robbery

ST. GEORGE – A reward is being offered for the information leading to identification, apprehension and conviction of the person(s) involved in the robbery at Wells Fargo Bank.

Wells Fargo, in conjunction with the Utah Bankers Association, is offering up to a $10,000 reward for original information.

A man who gave a note to the teller and left on foot with an undisclosed amount of money robbed Wells Fargo Bloomington Bank, 144 W. Brigham Road, on Aug. 18 at 11:48 a.m. Capt. James Van Fleet with the St. George Police Department previously said a weapon was not brandished during the robbery.

The man was described as a short, white male, weighing around 150 pounds. Van Fleet said the man was wearing a woman’s-style red wig, a green plaid shirt and jeans.
