
WASHINGTON CITY – An elderly woman woke early Friday morning to find a man standing in her hallway.
The woman, who lives on Foothill drive, said the man told her he wanted the keys to her vehicle. Ed Kantor with the Washington City Department of Pubic Safety said the suspect took the keys and a truck belonging to the victim. The man was found by officers in the stolen vehicle.
Kantor said the man was allegedly found with stolen property belonging to the victim, along with property from several other thefts in the area.
The 26-year-old Ivins man was arrested on six drug charges, as well as possession of a stolen vehicle and aggravated burglary.
