St. George Man Arrested After Allegedly Striking Victim’s Car with Bo Staff

ST. GEORGE – Officer arrested a 25-year-old St. George man early this morning after responding to a disorderly conduct call between two adult males.

Officer Johnny Heppler with the St. George Police Department said the incident was apparently a result of personal issues between the victim and the suspect. He said the suspect allegedly struck the victim’s car with a Bo Staff multiple times.

Heppler said the victim drove away and the suspect allegedly pursued him, committing a series of traffic violations along the way including running stop signs and speeding. The suspect also did not have a valid driver’s license, Heppler said.

The suspect was arrested and booked into jail on the following charges: felony criminal mischief, reckless driving, driving on a denied drivers license, and disorderly conduct. His bond was set at $5,633.00.
