HURRICANE – Jenny Bezzant of Pleasant Grove, who was named this year’s Wasatch Mother of the Year, will be handing over her reign as Mrs. Utah United States Saturday, May 14, at the statewide pageant that will be held at the Hurricane Fine Arts Building, 92 S. 100 W.

Seven contestants from all over the state will be vying for the crown. The contestants will compete in a private interview, swimsuit competition, evening gown competition and onstage interview before being selected as the new Mrs. Utah.

The winner will go on to compete at the national level in Las Vegas in August. The Mrs. Utah United States pageant honors married women who serve their community, their families and their state.

This years contestants are: Amanda Condie of Toquerville, Tawni Williams of North Salt Lake, Elizabeth Anderson of Alpine, Kristine Bennett of Apple Valley, Heather Richey of Herriman, Michele Weeks of Draper and Tiffany Alleman of Sandy.
