ST. GEORGE – Dr. Washington Zambrano DDS., International Medical Director for Charity Anywhere, is leading a team of five other medical professionals from Ecuador to Peru April 21, to provide much needed dental work and basic medical exams.

Some or most of the villagers coming from the Q’ero tribes (down from the high mountain Andean villages sitting upwards of 16,000 ft elevation) have never seen a licensed physician or dentist. They have there own Shaman and Medicine Man who offer herbal remedies and other types of aid.

Other services provided on this trip will include work at the school built by Heart Walk Foundation (a St. George based non-profit organization) which maintains and supports on an ongoing basis. Services can include painting, cleaning, playing and reading to the children and other necessary work that is needed.

There are still a few spots left on this trip for anyone interested in traveling to Peru to give humanitarian service. They can contact JT Wills Travel for more details (435) 817-6680.
