ST. GEORGE – For the third time in as many weeks, the Dixie State College women’s basketball team moved up in the latest version of the USA TODAY DIVISION II TOP 25 COACHES POLL. The Red Storm moved two spots to number 11 their highest ranking in school history.
The Red Storm (14-1, 4-0 PacWest) who was ranked-13th last week, jumped fellow PacWest member Grand Canyon at 12. The Red Storm defeated the Antelopes on Jan 8th in Saint George 85-72.
This past week Dixie State played three conference games and defeated Academy of Art 85-72, Dominican 76-49 and Notre Dame de Namur 88-53.
The Red Storm returns home this week to do battle withBYU-Hawaii on Thursday and Chaminade on Saturday.
