Las Vegas man arrested for urinating behind Harmons, not registering as a sex offender

ST. GEORGE – Officers arrested a registered sex offender from Las Vegas after someone called to report that the man was urinating behind Harmons and leaving beer cans on the ground.

Capt. James Van Fleet said Glenn Raymond Squires, 55, had moved to Utah several weeks ago but had not registered as a sex offender as required by law. He said Squires allegedly admitted to urinating in back corner of Harmons.

While interviewing Squires, officers noticed several grocery items and a lot of make up, Van Fleet said. The officers followed up with employees of Harmons who were able to pull video feed and allegedly found Squires had stolen the items.

Squires was charged with retail theft, littering, lewdness, public intoxication and not registering as a sex offender.
