A special Saturday Night at the Theatre with Tom Stam

ST. GEORGE – Tom Stam, a Tabernacle favorite with a magnificent deep, rich voice, will transport us to the theater on Oct. 9, at 7 p.m.  This concert is free, dress is casual and everyone is invited!   Handicap access.

Tom’s program will include a wide variety of popular Broadway music and an aria from the opera “Turandot”.  Enhancing the evening will be the beautiful voice of Wendy Waller and the vocal and musical talent of Jennifer and Kate Christensen.  Jenean Christensen, an exceptional concert pianist, will accompany them.

Jenean Christensen, a nationally certified teacher of music, has performed multiple times at the Temple Square Concert Series, studied with Gary Amano at USU and teaches in her Grantsville studio.  Wendy Waller, Tom’s daughter, is a professional vocalist.  Jennifer and Kate Christensen are Jenean’s musically gifted daughters.

Tom’s early introduction to music was from his opera singer mother, who was known as “The Song Bird of the Netherlands”.  He vast musical career includes forming the singing group “The Linebackers” and outstanding roles in many theatre productions (“Fiddler on the Roof”, Brigadoon, Joseph, etc.).  Tom has performed in various roles in Hale Theater’s “A Christmas Carol” for 25 years.
