ST. GEORGE —A new Alzheimer’s Association office has opened in St. George offering a variety of services for people interested in learning about Alzheimer’s disease or obtaining caregiver support.

Families, individuals and professionals can discover a wealth of information and find support group schedules at the office as well as through online resources.

The next meeting for the dementia caregiver support group will take place Wednesday from 6-7 p.m. and will be held on the first Wednesday of each month.

The Alzheimer’s Association is the world’s leading voluntary health organization in Alzheimer’s care, support and research and volunteers play an integral role in its mission. Individuals wishing to learn more about opportunities to help and serve in Southern Utah are encouraged to attend a volunteer orientation program on Tuesday from 6-8 p.m. or Wednesday from noon to 2 p.m.

The new office is located at 1173 S. 250 West, Suite 302. For more information about these services and programs, or to reserve a spot for the orientation or support group, contact Mike Miller, regional manager for Southern Utah at [email protected] or 435-238-4998.
