ST. GEORGE — Jerry and Susan McFalls disappeared seemingly without a trace from their home in Littlefield, Arizona, four months ago, and their family’s search for answers continues as strong as ever.

The husband-wife pair, both 63, have not been heard from since Jan. 11, and they are listed as missing and possibly endangered by Mohave County Sheriff’s Office and the FBI’s National Crime Information Center.

Since that time, friends, family and volunteers have conducted regular searches and community outreach events in the areas surrounding the small Arizona desert communities of Littlefield and Beaver Dam.

The search and outreach continues this weekend with meetings Saturday and Sunday at 9:30 a.m. PDT/9:30 a.m. MST/10:30 a.m. MDT at the old fire station in the Desert Springs area of Littlefield off Interstate 15 Exit 9.

The meetings are open to anyone available either morning to help hang flyers, talk to people for leads, spread the word or search, according to a post on a Facebook page set up by family members of the McFalls.

A reward offered by a private group has also been increased from $5,000 to $10,000 for information leading to the couple’s recovery or information leading to the arrest and conviction of persons found responsible for their disappearance.

“We are NOT stopping until Mom and Dad are home!! We need your help keeping the pressure on so those responsible or that know something will come forward and put an end to all this,” Meridee McFalls, the couple’s daughter-in-law, said in a post on the family’s Facebook page.

This weekend’s search is being conducted by David Bounsall of Las Vegas-based Federal Fugitive Recovery Agency.

Bounsall, who has been working with the family for more than two months, said he believes the couple’s disappearance is a case of homicide.

Mohave County Sheriff’s detectives conducted a search of the McFalls’ property Jan. 23, finding the couple’s vehicles, keys, guns, pets, phones, money and other items undisturbed at the home.

Bounsall has also conducted several independent searches of the property since then, including a series of digs in search of bodies or other leads. He and his crews turned over several items to Mohave County Sheriff’s detectives for further analysis.

The Sheriff’s Office still considers the McFalls’ disappearance to be a missing persons case, Mohave County Sheriff’s Office spokeswoman Anita Mortensen told St. George News Friday.

Anyone with information about the whereabouts of Jerry McFalls and Susan McFalls is asked to contact the Mohave County Sheriff’s Office at 928-753-0753 or 800-526-1911.
