WASHINGTON COUNTY — The Washington County Drug Task Force arrested a 63-year-old woman Tuesday for illegally selling prescription medications in Washington County, charging her with two second-degree felonies for drug distribution.
The task force conducted a controlled buy operation, utilizing an undercover detective to purchase prescription pills from 63-year-old Debbie Jo Reynolds, of Washington, according to a probable cause statement written by the task force in support of the arrest.
During the course of the investigation, the task force conducted two controlled buys of oxycodone from Reynolds, the statement said. Oxycodone is a schedule II narcotic used to treat pain.
Reynolds was arrested and booked into the Washington County Purgatory Correctional Facility.
She was charged with two second-degree felonies for drug distribution.
She was released from custody and is scheduled to make her initial court appearance Monday afternoon.
Persons arrested or charged are presumed innocent until found guilty in a court of law or as otherwise decided by a trier-of-fact.

How did she get the pills to sell? Was it a fake injury? Was a doctor over prescribing? Is there a dealer with a trunk full of pills and she was a seller of them? Or was it one or ten pills over a course of months of her filling the prescriltions and she sold for some extra cash?
