ST. GEORGE – Dixie High football invites the public to come out for a “Meet the Team” event Wednesday at 7 p.m. at the school, 350 E. 700 South in St. George, featuring all the players from the defending-champion Dixie Flyers football team.
The event is a fundraiser social catered by Pepper’s Cantina. Cost for adults is $5, cost of children 9 and younger is $3.
A silent auction will be held with proceeds going directly to the Dixie High football team in support of its efforts to continue excellence on and off the field.
Additionally, several drawings will be made awarding fantastic prizes including a trip to Salt Lake City to watch the Utah Utes play the Arizona State Sun Devils on Oct. 17 – air fare for the trip is provided by SkyWest Airlines, according to the release issued by the booster club.
