Traffic Advisory: Northbound I-15 near Kanarraville backed up due to vehicle fire

UPDATE 11:50 a.m.: UDOT reports via twitter that the incident has been cleared.

KANARRAVILLE – Traffic on northbound Interstate 15 has backed up due to a vehicle fire at milepost 48 near Kanarraville, Friday morning.

A semitrailer caught fire around 9 a.m., with fire crews from Cedar City and Kanarraville fire departments responding to the scene. The fire was put out by 10 a.m.

Units of Utah Highway Patrol, Iron County Sheriff’s Office, and Utah Department of Transportation have also responded to the scene.
