Star gazing at 10,000 feet; Cedar Breaks National Monument

CEDAR BREAKS — Join rangers and volunteers from Cedar Breaks National Monument and Brian Head Town for the Cosmos on the Mountain event where stars will be viewed at a breathtaking 10,000 feet.

Dates for the event are Jan. 17, Feb. 14 and March 14.

The evening activities include a short presentation about Cedar Breaks Ranger-led constellation tour telescope viewing of deep space objects.

The fun begins at the Navajo Lodge at 7 p.m. Participants also will enjoy free hot chocolate at the Lodge and are recommended to dress warmly.
