ST. GEORGE – Northbound traffic on Interstate 15 was slowed late Thursday morning after a two-vehicle collision occurred at milepost 4, in the Bloomington area of St. George.
A passenger car and a Utah Department of Transportation street sweeper collided at about 11:50 a.m. Utah Highway Patrol Sgt. Todd Royce said minor injuries resulted from the accident but he was unable to confirm details of the crash at the time of this publication.
The incident was still under investigation as of 1:25 p.m., Royce said.
The collision caused northbound traffic to back up between Exit 4 and Exit 2 while the accident was cleared.
