CEDAR CITY — Bids for commercial pine nut collection on public lands in Iron, Beaver and Millard Counties are being accepted by The Bureau of Land Management Utah Cedar City Field Office or BLM. Sealed bids will be accepted until Aug. 8, at 2 p.m.
The written, sealed bids must be equal to or greater than the appraisal price of $35 to participate in the commercial collection of more than 25 pounds of pine nuts annually. A $75 security deposit must accompany bids. As in previous years, permits are not required for personal use gathering of less than 25 pounds.
