CEDAR CITY — A 62-year-old man was killed Thursday night after he was ejected from his vehicle during a rollover on northbound Interstate 15 near milepost 71.
Just before midnight, Tomasi Toutai, of Fontana, California, was traveling in the outside lane northbound on I-15 in a 2007 white Chevy Cobalt. As he neared milepost 71, for an unknown reason he swerved to the left, which caused the vehicle to slide sideways into the median, Utah Highway Patrol Sgt. Todd Royce said .
The car continued to slide sideways and then began to roll, and Toutai was ejected from the vehicle. The car rolled across southbound I-15 and onto the frontage road, where it came to rest on its side.
Toutai was not wearing his seatbelt. His death was caused by the injuries he suffered from being ejected. No evidence was found indicating contributing factors to the accident or why Toutai swerved to the left, Royce said.
Toutai’s family members have been notified.

Tomasi Toutai was one of the kindest, Christlike people I have ever met. We have lost a choice person, and God has received one. May he rest in peace, and may his family be comforted.
What about this story…………..A St. George, Utah, woman died after the car she was a passenger in was involved in a crash with a semi-truck, the San Bernardino County Coroner’s Office reported Saturday.
The woman was identified as Meena Khodidias Patel, 25, according to the coroner’s website.
The crash was reported about 10:40 p.m. Friday on the 15 Freeway south of Harvard Road.
California Highway Patrol officers found a 2013 Chevrolet Malibu that had hit the back of a tractor-trailer, according to the coroner’s website. The driver of the car lost control of the vehicle, which then rolled an unspecified number of times, according to the coroner’s website.
Patel suffered trauma to the upper part of her body, the coroner’s website said. Personnel with the Marine Base Logistical Ambulance responded to the incident and declared Patel dead at the scene.
Too bad he died a mormon.

I’m at a loss for words. Tomasi will be greatly missed. His heart was bigger than life and his passion for his family as well as his commitment to what is right is his legacy. He found joy in helping others and he is a gentleman with a great sense of humor. Tomasi has put his mark on earth in many different ways but what I admire the most about him is his ability to believe in his ability to do beyond his best by going after whatever he put his mind into. He was never the type to let any criticism or failure stop him from accomplishing what he set out to do. Tom was a very talented man. His love and passion for his trade as a mason can be found throughout the state of California. The last time I saw Tomasi was in 2003 and it saddens me to know that I am going to see him soon (his funeral) but I won’t see his kind smile. I am forever grateful for the opportunity to know him. He will be missed by many.
