WASHINGTON CITY – For a second year the Washington City Community Center played host to one of the biggest New Year’s Eve parties in Southern Utah. By 7:30 p.m., it was estimated that 3,700 people packed into the community center for the event. There was also a new addition to the party this year –  fireworks.  It is the first time Washington City has had a fireworks show for New Year’s Eve.

I’m sorry to say but that was the worst firework show i have ever seen. You cant just fire them off one at a time and call it cool. Washington city please get a good protectionist to design them next time. example https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7-4MoT5bZw4

Were all 3,700 packed into the swimming pool? Ewwww! That would be a swimming cesspool! Hope the chlorine content was high!

Great the city does so much child-oriented stuff. Now if it would only allow activities for adults to enjoy with other adults and without the kids running around and screaming.
